This palm has very interesting foliage. The leaflets of the fronds occur at all angles giving the fronds a bottlebrush or foxtail-like quality. Fronds are tall and gracefully arching and make attractive specimen plants in the landscapes that are in frost-free parts of the country although they will tolerate very light freezes for short periods of time.
